Cazeau (Belgium) - Tournay de Noel - 8.2% (330ml)
We wanted to create a more palateful, stronger beer, but without spices. We needed a mixture of five different barley malts for the dark ruby colour and the body that we wanted. Then we wanted hops that were not too strong to contribute to the roundness of winter beers. This is why we opted for the Slovenian Styrian Golding, not very bitter, but used in great quantity and combined with a little Cascade, for a very fine hopping

Its colour is hazy, opalescent, blond, and with a creamy foam. Its flavours evoke the fruits from the South of France (ripe apricots, peach, melon), rustic cereals (spelt, wheat), as well as floral notes. The palate is smooth on the entry, and dry on the finish. Its bitterness is fine and balanced

Its colour is copper, with appetizing red highlights. Its aroma immediately presents a nice balance between malt and hops. On the palate, you’ll find delicious flavours of caramel, biscuit, and pudding, complemented by notes of candied fruits, mandarin, bitter orange, and licorice (all this without using a single gram of spices or fruits!). It has a beautiful bitterness that lingers in the mouth, with a dry and light finish
